Medical Center Adds Less Invasive Biopsy
St. Joseph Medical Center is offering stereotactic breast
biopsies — a safe, fast and precise way to test breast tissue samples
without surgery. "Stereotactic breast biopsies can be less stressful,
with minimal risk of complications in comparison to open surgical
biopsy," said Lisa Stevens, director of Cardiology and Medical Imaging.
